Professional Experience
Thomas worked on the trading floor of the Chicago Board of Trade. Also, he worked as a research assistant at Dartmouth College for a year developing a fluorescent cyanide sensor.
While earning a doctorate at Stanford University, Thomas worked as a teaching assistant in organic chemistry and biochemistry, and he studied antibiotic biosynthesis. He also worked as an outdoor educator at YMCA of the Rockies.
Thomas began his teaching career at DDST Stapleton High School during the 2017–2018 school year.
Hobbies
Thomas enjoys running and long backpacking trips. He has travelled to Alaska, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Minnesota, and New Hampshire to backpack.
