The role of teachers should be to help develop kind, thoughtful and curious people who have discovered their purpose and passionately use it to light their communities.”
Why Biological Sciences
“I chose to teach biological sciences because I love to see students journey from wonder, to frustration, and finally to understanding, mastery, and continued curiosity.”
During college, Kevin worked as a teaching assistant for the Biology Department at Colorado College. His role was to prepare cadavers for dissection and walk students through the process of dissection. For one year, Kevin worked as an after-school science educator for the East Bay Asian Youth Center through Americorp. For two years, he worked as a guest lecturer at CU Science Discovery, a science, technology, engineering and math education outreach program at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Kevin began teaching at Longmont High School during the 2018–2019 school year.
Kevin enjoys spending his days rock climbing and skiing in the mountains of Colorado. He also enjoys thoughtfully developed board games.
