Marna’s Story
Marna Eckels taught physics, math, and engineering in the Boston Public Schools from 2010-2022. She loved seeing her students build creative projects, using lots of hot glue and electrical tape in the process. Before becoming a teacher, she worked as an electrical engineer and software test engineer on technical projects including an implantable artificial heart, satellite communication systems, and airfare search engines, and she now works as a faculty co-op coordinator at Northeastern University with engineering students.
