Camden’s Story
Camden is an award-winning educator, curriculum developer, and project manager with a passion for creating innovative, learner-centered STEM experiences. As a former high school science teacher, Camden engaged students with active, minds-on learning, making science relevant to their lives. He taught a range of courses, from freshman biology to AP Environmental Science, always emphasizing curiosity and real-world connections.
Beyond the classroom, Camden has developed phenomenon-based, NGSS-aligned curricula for leading organizations like BSCS Science Learning and Backyard Brains, where he blended rigorous science content with hands-on exploration. His work has helped redefine how STEM education can inspire critical thinking and discovery.
Camden also has a deep commitment to professional learning and educator development. He has led professional learning workshops on equitable pedagogy, culturally responsive teaching, and collaborative classroom practices, supporting educators in building inclusive and effective learning environments.
In addition to his work in education, Camden co-hosts a science podcast that explores common misconceptions through humor and storytelling, making complex topics accessible and entertaining.
