During this two-day meeting, 2016 Knowles Teaching Fellows will continue the work introduced at the 2019 Knowles Summer Conference on engaging in practitioner inquiry to explore their own teaching practices and classroom cultures, and identifying ways to work toward more equitable access to learning for their students. Fellows will work with partners to analyze data they collected in their classrooms between the Summer and Fall Meetings and to identify implications and next steps for improving their practice. In addition, Fellows will explore opportunities for collaboration in their departments or schools, identify skills they wish to build for working more productively with colleagues, and plan ways to engage school colleagues as thinking partners in their inquiry work.
